Born in Bulgaria, Milko joined Hey Harper after several years working as a jewelry & product designer in Zurich. He decided to join the brand to take on the democratic approach to jewelry and show the world they don't need millions to own quality designer jewelry.

Milko's creative process is a balance of both getting involved with the culture around him and his inner motivation to create something memorable. He starts by gathering inspiration from the art, music and nature, taking notes of different patterns, textures, and shapes that catch his eye. Spending time sketching and experimenting with different design ideas, honing in on those that resonate the most with him.

"I like to not only design a piece but to make a whole universe where my designs live." - following this mantra Milko is going to overlook every product design and upcoming collection for Hey Harper being the first at the end of january.

We played with the most recognizable symbol of love: the heart. Starting from exploring different knotting techniques that symbolize love and stability, we created a mini-series of pieces that play with different heart shapes. Each piece from the collection is not beautiful but also meaningful.
